Bogotá is the largest city with the most diverse population in Colombia. With more than 7 million people that from all regions of our national territory, Bogotá is divided into 20 localities that cover the totality of the city. Each of these localities has its own local mayor and administration board. The average temperature of the city is 14°C, but unpredictable changes in temperature are common throughout the day. |

Bogotá is also divided into 4 major zones, which offer different attractions. Central zone: The heart of Bogotá, this zone houses the historical area of La Candelaria, as well as several financial and economic centers. Also, most governmental and administrative buildings are located in this sector of the city. Northern zone: This is the area where most of the financial activity is concentrated and where most museums, churches and cultural attractions can be found. Hotel Charleston Bogotá is located in this part of the city. Southern zone: Construction and industrial sector of the city. Western zone: Industrial sector that houses the most important athletic centers and parks, including Simon Bolivar Park, which offers a wide variety of attractions. The western zone of Bogotá also houses El Dorado International Airport. Included in the attractions that both visitors and residents find captivating are the different musical festivals that the city offers throughout the year, such as the Salsa, Jazz, Opera and Rock al Parque festivals. |
